A42O0267Activities and ClubsThe overall development of the student's personality is ensured by their active involvement in curricular and co-curricular activities like Elocution, Quiz, Debates, Public Speaking, Scouts and Guides, Eco Club, Instrumental Music, Piano, Classical Dances, Yoga, Paper Art, Needle Work, Clay Modeling, Painting, Karate and Skating. Supervised games such as football, cricket & badminton are regularly practiced during the Physical Education hours.

To develop their latent talents, students are encouraged to join different clubs functioning in the school and house-wise competitions are organized to instill in them a feeling of belonging and to encourage healthy competition.

In addition to this, Personality Development, SUDOKU and Health Education Sessions are also structured. Field trips and outings are organized under the supervision of the teachers to keep them in touch with the outside world. 

Academic year 2013-2014 was started with great enthusiasm.


The following events were held in KG Section in this academic year.


Balloon Day Activity, Fruit Salad Day and Coloring Activity were held on 16th, 21st and 24th of April respectively.


'Love the world you are on' was the theme on 'Earth Day', 22nd April 2013 wherein the KG children conducted a special assembly dressed in Blue attire representing the Earth, the Blue planet in the Universe.


To explore their senses, children of UKG visited park on 28th April and Popcorn Day was held on 27th April.


Rattle Making Activity, Lemonade Day, Paper chain Activity, Vegetable Printing Activity and Sandwich Making Day were held on 1st, 5th, 6th, 15th and 20th of May respectively.


Mothers' Day special Assembly was conducted by the students of LKG. Children of KG made beautiful cards for their mother.


Puppet Show another attractive event was held on 11th of May.


World Family Day special Assembly was conducted by the students of UKG. Children of KG dressed in Red symbolizing love for their Family on 15th May.

The following events were held in Boys and Girls Section in the new academic year 2013-2014.

Investiture ceremony: 

Boys Section: The Investiture Ceremony of Al-Khozama International School (Boys Section) , for academic year 2013-2014 held on Sunday , May 5 was organized with all its grandeur. The Dignitaries were escorted by Guards of Honor to the dais. They include Chief Guest and Principal Dr. L. P. Ravikumar, Administration Manager Mr. Razi Sheikh Parith, Administration Officer Mr. Mohd. Roshan  , Vice Principal Mr. Jayaprakash Nair , Mudeer Mr. Abdul Hadi, Head Mistress Ms.Sajna Mylanchi and Supervisor of Boys section Mr. Stani Thomas. To Grace the occasion, Supervisors of Girls section, KG section Mrs. Leena Gogy and Mrs. Betsy Nitto also marked their presence . During the solemn ceremony, esteemed Chief Guest and Principal Dr. L. P. Ravikumar appointed 21 members as the upcoming leaders of Al-Khozama. The Chief Guest pinned the badges to the School Head Boy , Cultural secretary, Sports secretary, Vice Captains  of various houses and the Prefects. Thereafter, the Chief Guest administered the oath .The Office Bearers were lead by School Head Boy, Master Atif Kundlik followed by Sports Secretary Master Kenneth Augusty, Cultural Secretary Master Niket Parekh and Captains of LEAD(Lavender, Erica, Azalea, Daffodil) vowed to be committed to their duties assigned to them.

The Chief Guest inaugurated the Annual Sports meet and declared it open by receiving the relay torch from the members of School's Sports team. The event was then followed by Arabic Prayer and School Anthem. Sports Secretary Master Kenneth Augusty welcomed the gathering and School Head Boy Master Atif Kundlik presented the acceptance speech.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. L. P. Ravikumar congratulated the newly elected potential leaders and enlightened the audience with qualities of a soldier, the resistance and hard work that they had to instill in them to be paramount leaders. He also congratulated Mrs.Roshna for her support and encouragement to the event and appreciated the staff of Al-Khozama for their contribution.

The Formal Ceremony was concluded with Vote of Thanks by Cultural Secretary Master Niket Parekh and by singing the National Anthem.

The most awaited segment for the day was the 'Tug Of War' between the respective houses (LEAD).Daffodils exhibited all their strength and were declared as Champions .The Proud House Mistress being Mrs. Bindu Prasad , House Master Mr. Younis and Physical Education Teachers Mr.Saril ,Mr. Sadiq and Mr. Imran were congratulated for their efforts.

Girls Section:  Investiture ceremony is a very special day in the student- life at Al-Khozama International School. Tenth investiture ceremony was celebrated in Al- Khozama International School (girls section) Dammam on 30th April  .

Chief Guest Ms. Sana -Mudeera of girl's section was welcomed by the students and staffs. The ceremony began with the inspection of the House Captains of Lavender, Erica, Azalea and Daffodil- by guard of honor. The student council members were honored with badges by Ms. Leena , Supervisor (GS), Ms. Sana – Mudeera  and Ms. Betsie – KG Supervisor.  The oath taking ceremony was conferred upon by Ms. Sajna (HM) and declared inauguration of the Annual Sports Meet-2013-14. Kiran Maria, the cultural secretary delivered the welcome address and the acceptance speech was conveyed by the Head Girl- Ms. Fiona Sharon Prakash .

Enchanting Khozama songs sung by the school choir group resounded in the school premises added charm to the ceremony. The chief guest Ms.Sana encouraged the student leaders and wished them good luck in the new academic year.

'Leadership is an intangible characteristic that can't be explained, but when you see it, you will recognize it'-said Ms. Sajna and advised the students to uphold the spirit of leadership throughout the year and to be the role models of tomorrow. Vote of thanks was conveyed by Ms. Ansu Elsa, the sports secretary and the ceremonial function culminated with the National Anthem.

With the promise to uphold the vested responsibilities and discharge their duties the student council looked marched their way to the hearts of their members.

Tug of war was conducted to develop the team spirit among the members which   became the mark of the day in which the Azalea House became the winner of the day and were cheered by the members.
